Extensions

your dream hair made possible

Weft extensions are long strips (wefts) of hair sewn, beaded, taped, or clipped into the client’s natural hair to add length, volume, or both. They’re versatile, customizable, and ideal for full-service salons because they can be installed semi-permanently (6–12+ weeks between maintenance) and blended perfectly with professional color and styling. Good for clients who want dramatic change, long-term wear, or repeat reuse of high-quality Remy hair.

What are hair extensions exactly

Types of  installs

We know everyone’s hair goals are different, which is why we offer a variety of extension methods. Whether you want a quick glow-up or a long-term transformation, we’ve got you covered!

💖 Tape-In Extensions

The “no-fuss glam” option. Ultra-thin wefts are taped to your natural hair, laying flat and blending beautifully. They’re reusable, lightweight, and perfect if you want gorgeous hair without hours in the chair.

💖 Clip-In Extensions

Your instant confidence booster! These wefts clip in and out with ease, so you can change your look whenever you feel like it. Perfect for special events, photos, or just adding a little extra oomph for the weekend.

💖 Keratin Tip (K-Tip) Extensions

For those who want the real deal — K-tips are bonded to your natural hair with keratin (the same protein your hair is made of). They last for months, look incredibly natural, and move just like your own hair.

💖 Beaded (I-Tip/Micro-Bead) Extensions

No glue, no heat — just tiny beads securing individual strands to your hair. They’re gentle, reusable, and super versatile, making them a favorite for anyone wanting long-term glam with flexibility.

💖 Sewn/Weft Extensions

Volume lovers, this one’s for you! Wefts of hair are sewn onto small, hidden braids or attached with beads. They’re secure, long-lasting, and give you that full, bouncy, runway-worthy hair you’ve been dreaming of.

✨ From quick-change queens to long-haul glam lovers, we’ve got the perfect method to match your lifestyle. Ready to find your dream hair? We’ll help you choose the option that’s best for YOU.

How long it lasts

Between professional maintenance:
Tape-ins: 6–8 weeks (may be moved/reattached).
Sew-in (weft on braids): 6–10 weeks before re-braiding/adjustment.
Beaded/hand-tied weft: 8–12 weeks depending on hair growth and bead reset.
Bonded wefts: 6–8 weeks.
Lifespan of the actual hair weft (product):
With high-quality Remy human wefts and proper care, hair can last 6–18 months (often reused 2–3 times if removed & stored/treated professionally).
Factors that shorten lifespan: poor at-home care, chlorine/saltwater exposure, heavy heat or styling without protection, overprocessing in salon.

Maintenance

Regular salon visits: every 6–10 weeks for tightening, moving up, bead re-setting, or re-braiding.
Monthly homecare routine: gentle sulfate-free shampoo, conditioning (avoid oil at roots for tape-ins), detangle gently with loop brush or wide-tooth comb, sleep on silk/satin pillowcase, low-heat styling, heat protectant.
Professional removal: always remove wefts at salon to prevent damage. Removal + reinstallation appointment time should be scheduled separately.
Color/toning: recommend professional toning at maintenance visits rather than at-home box toners.
Repair service: in-salon weft repair or replacement if shedding becomes excessive.

What to expect during & after the appointment

Appointment length: depends on method and volume:
Tape-ins: 1–2 hours for a full head.
Sew-in: 2.5–4+ hours (braiding + sewing + cut).
Beaded weft: 2–4 hours.
Removal + re-install + cut may be longer.

Immediate aftercare: avoid washing for 48 hours after adhesive installs (follow product guidance), avoid heavy workouts first 48 hours, avoid sleeping with wet hair.

Sensitivity: some clients may feel scalp tenderness for a few days (especially with braids). If pain persists, client should return.

Styling limitations: high, slicked-back styles may reveal tracks; educate clients on best styling to hide wefts.

Custom color & blending options

Full color match: dye/toner the weft hair (professional only). Options:
Single-tone match

Multi-dimensional blending (hand-tied highlights/lowlights in the weft to mimic salon color)

Balayage/ombré wefts (pre-colored) for low-maintenance lived-in look
Root shading: add depth at the top to create natural shadow and reduce “plugged-in” look.

Lowlights & highlights: blend wefts with hand-painted color to match natural highlights or to create contrast.

Custom weft manufacturing: order custom-processed wefts to client’s formula when you want perfect match and longevity.

Toning after install: use glosses/toners on the installed hair for the final perfect match (avoid aggressive bleaching on weft if it wasn’t pre-processed for it).
